Accordion Skirt Kits for Scissor Lift Table Pinch Point Protection
Accordion skirting provides a protective accessory for compatible scissor lift tables, lift and tilt tables, ground lifts, and ergonomic work positioners. Designed to help keep debris away from operating mechanisms, hydraulic components, and electrical parts, these skirts also help reduce access to pinch point areas beneath the table during normal operation.
Protective Vinyl Skirt Design
The skirt is made from flame-retardant 23 ounce vinyl material and includes reinforcing rods in alternating convolutions for added support. The accordion design expands and contracts with table movement while helping keep hands, feet, tools, and loose debris away from under-table components.
Mounting and Installation
Skirting includes aluminum extrusion mounting rails and self-tapping fasteners for installation. Factory-installed and customer-installed configurations may be available depending on the lift table model, with survey information used to confirm deck size, raised height, lowered height, table model, and skirt style.
Application Notes
Accordion skirts are available as optional guarding for several scissor lift models and can be configured as vinyl or chain skirt styles. These special-order skirts are non-returnable, require an approval drawing, and are not intended for units installed in a pit or used with a ramp. Electric toe guards are not included when a scissor table is fitted with an accordion skirt.
